Yes this blog is still being used but not for a long time.
The weather in the last month has gotten a lot more bike friendly with very warm temperatures, for the #yeg area. I put on some 32C Schwabe Marathon tires, that are in round and in true. This was not the case for a few tires that I bought before them.
I have been planning a little bike tour again, and have done some #internet research and found that little has changed. They still recommend steel for #touring, which is what I have had, since getting a custom Bob Jackson touring frame that is just around 40 years old now.
I will be riding with #thimblefingers, and this will be her first bike tour, and so should prove, enjoyable, interesting and a learning experience.
I use the bike mostly for rides on the paved #bike #trails and roads. I have put more time on the road bike instead of the #MTB, for no particular reason.
