Early season fatbiking while trying to avoid people and vehicles

The North Saskatchewan River is opening up

Gravel riding on fatbikes is easy and stable.

Well we had to check out the local gravel trails but still to wet.

Wifey called this 'the drive and dive' golf course driving range. This did crack us up!!

A little bump on a normal flat road.  :)

Little streams are still flooded

Back on paved trails

Headed for home

#Bikepacking a portion of the #KVRTrail B.C. Part 3

Keep your head down  and watch out for flying golf balls.

KVR Trail had some land bought up and so you had to get on the main HWY for a few KM's

Talked to a local and he told us of a bike trail all the way into Osoyoos.

Very beautiful fruit belt. It was nice to get some warmth too.

Gorilla, jet airplane, Sasquatch? Take your pick.

A couple of days of relaxation in Osoyoos with a swim-able lake about 100 meters away.

Rain jackets are on again.

Rain is coming, perhaps for a short while.
TIP If you ever see purple clouds, be AWARE rain, hail, winds, snow, all mix together will come in like a freight train! Those clouds ahead of us are not purple.

Open and close fences and say thanks, at least we are not riding on the roads!

Some places you are on private land and you had better follow direction.

Break time.

Short section of paved road just before Rock Creek

A lovely swimming hole for the local swimmers

It was Canada Day and the park was full! However a couple of motorcycles had to leave and we had a spot to stay! Ya!

Forest fire area that burnt a few years ago.

Always nice to find these outdoor potties.

We met a few racers doing the BC Epic 1000 looking for food as they skipped going into the town of Beaverdell and Rock Creek was the next food spot if it was open, going east. It was a nice spot to relax but it was early morning so we stopped for a while and continued.

Very beautiful area

Campsite in the town of Beaverdell. Only 1 other cyclist came later in the evening. Showers were available which is always nice.
Panorama shot overlooking Osoyoos a bit north
